The proposal was to design an extension of the Faculty of Architecture that would accommodate an investigation and working area. The main intentions of the project are defined by the process of understanding a way to articulate the accesses to the proposed building and the existing gardens of the school.

It was intended to offer a strong social interaction in the school by creating several relations between the patios.

Even though it shows as a compacted volume, the space is fluid and permeable, with vast glass openings. On the first floor of the entrance all the exterior spaces meet creating the central patio – an enlightened/ing place providing the space for encounter and discussion.
