Neda Popovic : About Me

When I was a kid, my mother told me that I knew how to draw and did it very well. After a while I stopped doing it. When I was older I developed an interest in photography studied it for three years in Novi Sad (Serbia). Even though I was focused on photography, I started drawing again, digitally, picking up exactly where I left off as a kid. To me it wasn’t much, just fun. Eventually I returned to Montenegro, my homeland, where I was accepted into a yearlong specification program of graphic design, where I learned how to combine these three art mediums.

City and date of birth: Bar, 09.12.1988.

During the last few days I’ve tried to make up stories about my work. So far, I’ve got nothing big or intriguing. And if I’m supposed to wait until something good comes up, I would never publish this.

All I can say, and really mean it, is that my work is some kind of an album diary which collects all those feelings, thoughts and mental states that can only be visually understood.
