Humans have made evident their interaction with nature, and Shandong Province is one example since, through extraction and alteration of natural forms, its ecosystem has been modified.  For this reason, the natural environment calls for new measures of interaction with nature, and forgetting this should not be one of them. Protection and contemplation have been the keys for creating Primaries Stones Park, imagining a space that invites the public to a healthy interaction through the architecture. The project is understood as an ecotourism park that provides an environment for contemplation that has witnessed prolonged human activity in Shandong’s landscape. The proposal is composed of a series of single-use structures connected by paths that trace the geometry of the landscape created by mining. For the location of the cabins, spaces have been chosen that are understood to be remnants of human activity: the concavities in the mountains. Primaries Stones Park, the architectural intervention, wishes to become a symbolic destination for all those who want to get away from their daily lives and experience a more primitive environment, inviting the public to reflect on the impact and the footprint created on the ecosystem.
