Hi there!
We are now starting a new journey INTO THE WILD with the launch of a new series of COMPETITIONS.
But why focus on nature and biodiversity?
1. A LIFE ON OUR PLANET
In this unique feature documentary, the celebrated naturalist reflects upon both the defining moments of his lifetime and the devastating changes he has seen. The FILM from Netflix addresses some of the biggest challenges facing life on our planet, providing a snapshot of global nature loss in a single lifetime.
2. WHAT IS BIODIVERSITY AND WHY DOES IT MATTER TO US?
The air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food you eat all rely on BIODIVERSITY, but right now it is in crisis – because of us. What does this mean for our future and can we stop it?
3. THE IMPACT OF THE ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ON THE LOSS OF THE INTEGRITY OF THE BIOSPHERE (LOSS AND EXTINCTION OF BIODIVERSITY)
The concentration of the world’s population in urban centers has led to important processes of urbanization and construction, which on many occasions have exceeded the capacity of the urban land where they are located. This has characterized a set of conditions that are closely linked to various types of environmental IMPACT.
4. WHAT IS BIODIVERSITY?
BIODIVERSITY is all the different kinds of life you’ll find in one area—the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up our natural world. Each of these species and organisms works together in ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life.
5. THIS INTERACTIVE MAP SHOWS HOW DIVERSE LIFE ON EARTH IS
Our planet is blue, yes, but also GREEN – teeming with life, from preening birds to leafing trees to fleeting microbes. Down but not out, living organisms span the globe in immense diversity, and meaningful action could make a difference in their conservation.
Stay creative and see you all next week!
