-BEST SHENZEN SITE of Community 2050 Competition | Category: Professional

 

We need to start the project from two aspects, one is the community, and the other is the urban design.

What will community 2050 look like? Our city Shenzhen, a very fast-growing megacity, the quick speed of construction, ignores the humanization. And the prosperous communities that go back to the past and the present are usually spontaneous behaviors, spontaneous transactions, spontaneous gatherings, and spontaneous activities. And often with low cost, diversity, specialization, affinity to attract the local population, while solving the problem of eating and drinking nearby, synchronously create more low-started entrepreneurship, giving people hope, and people to facilitate.

Such a picture of worldly life that rapid urbanization misses. And such atmosphere in 2050 will naturally be presented in a more technical way. We imagined that 30 years later, the popularization of magnetic levitation technology could be used as mobile and fixed urban furniture and small structures, establishing order for the city in the form of tracks. With the convenience, miniaturization, ease of operation, visualization, mobility, and clustering of worldly life, we turned to the model of brick-concrete structure to construct the building. Mass-produced prefabricated window blocks can be mass-produced, reducing costs and rapid leasing.

For the city, the Xili station city comprehensive transportation hub on the north side and the metro station in the center will trigger a crowd explosion point. This is a positive point, we solve this problem through the integrated design of the station bridge, the rapid overpass of the parallel double movement line and the slow street to effectively evacuate and guide the flow of people.

For the entire design scope, we stand on the basis of respect for the existing city, retain the original building, but release more community public land through open blocks. The road-based mobile community business is adopted along the street, and the layout is automatically formed according to the density of the flow of people, bringing the greatest benefits to the business and the flow of people.
