Most cities look for resilience. A strategy to combat dangerous scenarios for our society.
But in the look for finding better technology, we are faced with more constraints: cost, space, ways of living, climate and societal crisis which in most cases are related to our topic: energy.
One of the issues we encounter with using renewables to construct and off grid system is the use of urban space. Most of renewables, like solar, are small but require too much space to actually generate enough energy
This proposal makes use of the solar panels, but add a different use below them, a multiple-space node to equip the fabric of the city, not only with energy, but with different economic, physical and resources activities.
As an alternative, a grand wheel power by kinetic energy of kids and adults running on it can generate energy for storage. This wheel keeps moving thanks to magnetic devices place through the wheel to maintain movement and also to prevent dangerous high speeds.
