-HONOURABLE MENTION of Non Architecture Award 2022 Competition | Category: Aspatial & Virtual

The wall using moiré changes the size and depth of the three-dimensional pattern depending on the distance, and the pattern appears to move as the angle of the mesh dots changes slightly when a person moves sideways, creating a highly eye-catching design. Not only the moiré illusion, but also the way the light enters the wall is interesting. The pattern used for moiré consists of regular squares, regular dots, and random dots. Moiré, which is a negative presence in flat printing, is used to create a dynamic visual effect and a space in which the gradation of light and shadow can be enjoyed.
