What is the submission CODE?

The submission CODE is your identification for the competition. It is the same as the ORDER NUMBER you can find in your order receipt (in the format of i.e. #12345, #98765, etc.). PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN YOU SUBMIT, YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE “#” AND USE THE NUMBERS ONLY.

I have just registered but I can not find my submission code. How do I solve it?

Within 24 hours from the registration, you will receive a confirmation email. This email is going to contain a 5-digit order number (i.e. #12345, #98765, etc.) which is the code you have to use to submit your project. In case you can not find the email, log in here with the email you used to register and you will be able to see your order number. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN YOU SUBMIT, YOU HAVE TO REMOVE TH category?E “#” AND USE THE NUMBERS ONLY.

How do I add the other team members' info?

You will be able to fill in the team information during the submission process. We do not ask to specify the whole team during the registration, just in case the members happen to change during the design process.

What kind of proof do I need to submit for the 'PROFESSIONAL' category?

A proof of registration to the chamber of commerce, VAT number or other documentation that can prove your professional status will be required.

PayPal does not work in my Country. How do I register?

If you don’t have PayPal, please try to ask a friend, a relative or anybody who you can trust with this and lives in a different country, to purchase the entry for you. If you can’t resolve the payment similar to this, please contact us at info@nonarchitecture.eu, also including which competition are you referring to.

I don't live in Europe, can I still participate?

Non Architecture Competitions are open to all human beings, from every age and cultural background, working in groups or individually.

I am a student, which category am I supposed to enter?

Students should enter the ‘OPEN’ category.

I am not a student, can I still participate?

Non Architecture Competitions are open to all human beings, from every age and cultural background, working in groups or individually.

Those, who pursue architecture, urban design or other design fields professionally, are invited to enter the ‘PROFESSIONAL’ category, in case they can provide proof like registration to the chamber of commerce, VAT number or other documentation.

Students, non-architects and everybody who is interested in the topic can enter the ‘OPEN’ category, no proof is needed.

I studied architecture / urban design / landscape architecture / etc., but I don't work in this profession at the moment. Which category should I enter?

In case you are not working in these professions at the moment, you should enter the ‘OPEN’ category.

Can I re-use a pre-existing project?

Yes, as long as it fulfils the submission requirements.

Can I submit a project that was submitted to another competition before?

Yes, as long as it fulfils the submission requirements.

Can I submit PDFs or other formats instead of JPGs and DOCs?

Due to the amount of time required to fix wrong submissions, Non Architecture will NO LONGER accept PDFs submissions. The folder to be submitted must contain the three JPG images and the two DOC files (team and text) only, if the competition brief doesn’t instruct otherwise.

Can I submit a .RAR instead of a .ZIP?

Due to the complications while handling .RAR files, we are only able to process submissions in the correct .ZIP format.

Is it possible to submit a video or a gif?

You are not allowed to include any videos or gifs in the submission folder. You are free to add links to videos or gifs in the description DOC file. These links will be not seen and evaluated by the jurors but can be included in case the project will be published on the website.

Do I need a project title?

Yes, you need to give a title to your project.

Do I need a team name?

No, you don’t need a team name.

Can I submit extra images?

No, only the number of images assigned in the competition brief can be submitted.

Can I submit more than one design project?

Yes, you are free to submit more than one design, but you need to register for each one separately and also do the submission separately for every project.

Can I send my submission in an email?

No, you can only submit your project through the submission form, that is placed on the bottom of the corresponding competition page. The submission form is going to be available 2 weeks before the submission deadline.

I submitted my material, but I'm not sure if you received it.

When you finalize your submission via the form on the Non Architecture website, you will receive a confirmation email. If you received it, your submission is confirmed.

My We Transfer link expires in 7 days. Did you download my files?

We download all submissions within 24 hours after you filled the submission form on the website, during the whole submission period. You are not going to receive a separate confirmation email about the download.

Can I alter my material after I sent the submission?

No, since it is not possible to change files in the WeTransfer folder, you can’t alter your submission. However, you are free to re-submit the WHOLE MATERIAL. Upon receiving the new submission, we are going to delete your previous one.  You can resubmit only before the final submission deadline.
