THE ARCHITECT
Architecture student at Barnard College, the Women’s College of NYC.
Architecture draws on many typologies. In my studies, I procure architecture’s involvement in the evolution of health. The compass of architecture moderates the human experience in topological phenomenology. Architecture anchors and architecture permeates the senses. Architecture is absurd. In my practice, I am mostly concerned with how the architecture relates to the body in its multiplicity of form and function. I am also very interested in physical process and manipulating material. There is a sacredness in solids and their ability to agitate the innermost human conditions. The convergence of a localized notational system, physics, and material freedom renders systemics chief to the human body. Plasticity in architecture rationalizes a procedure reserved for the cerebrum. Architecture counts first drafts and final studies, as well as the traces of process lost and found in between lines of poetic constructions. Drawing in midair, there is a corporeal immortality being referenced in the art of construction and preservation. Paradoxes exist. The key is to follow a vector that can easily be traced back. Architecture strikes a nerve in me. The influx of words pierces intangible faculties beyond symbolic expression. I believe in performance and I believe architecture performs robustly, subtly, in a venerable measure. Self referential and auditory, architecture heralds of an indiscriminate past. The future of Architecture is a breathing machine, full of vigor and vitality.
