In the near future, we live in a post war city, our buildings destroyed, our cultural identity remains just a memory of the glorious past. The whole city as it used to be is now a reality only in our minds, a collection of fragments that still hold together our self. We are the city, but what we see outside is not our identity, the fire, smoke and dust is not our memory, we have a glamorous memory of the past, that is who we are. That is what represents us. We come from glory and we ascend towards it. The current disaster is just a purifying trial of our identity.
We look forward to our future with that memory, and Virtual Reality is what helps us reconstruct the city by projecting meaningful elements that are representative of our relationship to past architecture. The city is not dead, every element that we bring back is our heritage, our pride, our treasure.
