-WINNER of Powerless City Competition
The city consists of a main tower and seven smaller towers around it. Along with it do agricultural towers resemble small hills between the towers. According to project , the connection between human-soil was maintained, and the connection between structure-soil was minimized.There is a subway network between the main tower and the other towers. Vertical transportation network was used inside the towers. The main energy of the city is supplied from the main tower. The water going from the main tower to the magma evaporates and generates electrical energy with the effect of pressure. This energy is sent to all towers. Energy is produced by solar panels. In addition, through the mirrors, the sun’s rays are reflected on the unlit facades so energy savings increased. Shell is designed considering the wind limit in the towers.Vertical propellers are used at the top of the shells to generate energy from the wind. It is aimed to collect the wastes through channels opened from the units in the tower and convert them into biomass energy. Rainwater will be collected through gaps in the tops of the agricultural towers and the water used in agricultural areas will be taken from here.
