Plastic is the direct cause of environmental pollution, which accounts for the largest proportion of marine waste. In addition, CO2 acts as an indirect factor in ecosystem problems by acidifying the sea, hindering coral reef growth and leading to death. To solve these problems, I would like to make a pavilion using plastic PET bottles and fishing nets.
The plastic bottle constituting the pavilion consists of several layers, so the amount of insolation can be controlled. Inside each PET bottle, several algae and coral reefs are placed, providing a safe growth environment for them to be managed away from their natural enemies.
Each of the circular bottom surfaces facing the sea level is designed to sink to a certain depth.
Through this, we would like to approach it as a marine museum and an experiential cultural space that provides citizens with an exotic waterfront space experience.
