Your bespoke hotel wherever you go
In hotelcraft we think the classical hotel typology is dead, so we come to o er the visitor a new way of enjoying their time away from home.
We see an alarming increase of leisure travelers nding and alternative accommo- dation for their vacations. This is due to the apparition of the sharing economy as a new model of understanding business. Tourists tend to prefer when visiting a city to have a place of their own and getting to know the host, who is de nitely going to be the best guide to show them around. This niche in the market is expanding rapidly; there is no need for tourist agencies anymore and the old model of hotel is seen as elitist and basically shopworn.
On the other hand we’ve got the other group of guests: people who travel for work. People who travel a lot, people who are extremely practical and ultimately people who don’t have time. We understand that focusing in their needs is the only way hotels can prevail alive. In hotelcraft we try to respond to the re- quests of our clients. We see frequent travelers tend to lose track of the city they are in since they only visit for a few hours work, sleep the night and catch a plane rst thing next morning. They go from o ce to o ce, hotel to hotel, all so alike one another and so impersonal…
That is why we created a digital platform where users can decide the con guration of their room during their stay. They can choose from a wide range of options, comprising what furniture they want in the room, where they want it, colour of bed linens, decoration and even their favorite paintings or personal photos. They just need to save that con guration and the next time they book a room with us, regardless the city, we commit to have it ready for them exactly as they had plan- ned. We are able to do this thanks to the design of our hotels. Everything in the room is modulated and transformable. Walls and oors can be pulled out or up to create tables, the bed base and shelves. This makes it extremely exible when de- signing the layout.
With this why our guests will never feel they are in a dehumanized space again, basically because wherever they travel they know that that night they are going to be sleeping in a place they can call home.
