Versatility, sustainability and high-tech in a single structural element
The way to understand Sport, to practice it and, therefore, where it is sheltered, is changing. A football stadium only serves to practice it, at most other sport, but it does not adapt well.
Solution? Concentrate the benefits of each sport space in a structural element that is capable of generating different spaces depending on the activity that shelters. From this vision comes our proposal, based on a single structural element, mobile and self-sufficient. The range of situations would not be limited to a single space, a single fixed disposition or a single activity:
- Isolated rib: it can be attached to an existing building to provide it with energy improvements.
- Form in line: a parade, a motor-race, a concert.
- Form in street: markets, fairs …
- Form in coliseum: sports palace.
For the public it has been thought of an extendable bleacher that leaves from the own rib, as the rest of elements that compose the structure (trusses with photovoltaic textile parasols).
In the end of the tower there is a wind turbine and it has been thought of as a viewpoint by means of a scissor mechanism, which can reach an extra height of 10 meters.
