Run like a wolf & rest in a den
I concieve a competition as an important part of any kind of sport, but I also concieve a sport as a possibility for being with myself in a meditative meaning. Runner is a modern wayferer and running give him a joy of focusing on his mind and body, moving throu an open landscape, independetly of other people.
This project depicts my perfect holiday idea: Running alone across the moutains dozens of miles and each evening repose in a small, private, cosy den with only basic equipment and relaxing sauna. And the next day just run off again.
My project represents the path across the mountains, throu their lower settled parts, throu a wild nature areas. The route is signed by symbol of the wolf footprint. Each section ends in a burrow hidden in a hillside which provides a beautiful view. The den represents a shelter for a regeneration, meditation, relaxing or just having something easy to eat, hanging clothes to dry and sleeping.
