In this epidemic, Virologist explained that, the more open a space, the less likely the novel coronavirus can become concentrated in one area in the air.
2 ways that buildings can take include increasing the amount of outdoor air to the space, increasing airflow rates to the space, which play a critical role in reducing COVID-19 exposure.
One of the biggest concerns today is loneliness caused by long-term isolation from outdoor activities. People need common space that allows neighbors to see and hear one another. where we can all access outdoor spaces and feel the sunshine on our faces. Therefore, in our design, we use Mobius ring as an element, cut it in half and combine it with stairs to become the traffic core, and focus on atrium space design, introducing light, falling water, green plants and curve elements to shape to meet people’s mental & physical health needs.
The quarantine has also made us realized that there is a very realistic work from home solution. The dynamic becomes much more fluent that our home spaces become spaces we can work from. We think Balcony space and custom furniture can provide solutions for home work.
