The ECCT (Civic and Citizen Space of Talca) becomes the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how public space can improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of a certain place.

The current public space of the city of Talca is represented in the avenue that crosses a fundamental portion of its urban fabric, which allows its citizens to appropriate common and democratic spaces, generating a spectrum of the urban that defines the Municipality, and it represents it both culturally and socially.

However, although the avenue is the articulating axis of the city, the uses and basic activities of the existing projects do not manage to absorb the complementary dynamics that make up an urban space endowed with cultural and civic facilities that define a flexible urban system.
The architectural proposal is defined as a point of urban, civic and public articulation, which is integrated into the great mesh of the city and positively affects the dynamics of the context.
