Long distance space travel in space grapes. The inflatable grapes are like a womb in which the travellers hibernate their bodies. Just like locked down people during the pandemic, it’s through virtual worlds, that I call augmented reality, that the travellers enjoy daily life, work, and human interactions during their journey. Through an umbilical cord, oxygen and nutrition are directly fed to the travellers. A reusable rocket is the means of transportation to get into orbit.
Space architecture abandons rigidity through soft cords, grapes, leaves, tissues, that can inflate, heal, decompose, and change through time, to familiarize with the unknown of the universe.
