Short history of the clothes hanger
A clothes hanger is an object we are all familiar with:
it can be found in every house and we use it pretty much everyday. Its simple yet ingenious design helps store clothes neatly and prevent any wrinkle and damage. The origins of the clothes hanger are to be found by the end of the 18th century: to this day, its shape and main function have not changed much but many variations of the same object have been created through the years.
A hanger is an highly functional object but it goes usually unnoticed, which is why we collected 15 examples of clothes hanger from 1897 until today.
