Expect the Unexpected

Ciranna Francesco is a photographer based in Milan.

After several educational and work experiences, he starts his study and professional career at the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia as assistant .
With a long standing passion for cinema and photography, he is fascinated by how cellulose films and silver prints allow to depict a story without the need for pens and words.
Story telling is however not exclusive domain of writers, poets and photographers.
In a big city like Milan, stories revolve around its people, and together with them, they hide around corners, in a metro wagon, in a courtyard as well as in our mind, waiting to be uncovered.
True or false, real or figment of imagination, these stories unravel before our eyes and often can be completely surreal.
