STOA is a mental filter that prepares people for a new reality, mid and post pandemic (or any crisis). Crises show no mercy, they come unexpectedly and push people to act fast causing many to easily lose their minds in such times. Placed in an abstract, mental space of each person, STOA filters and clarifies people’s minds, who in return let go of the old ways of living and thinking, accepting the new life in front of them. While traversing the STOA, people are losing old patterns and habits, i.e. part of themselves and are subjected to the process of grieving. After going through all five stages – denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance, people then come to terms with the “new now”, able to change their ways and be more responsible for the world and themselves.
