-FINALIST of FUTURE PUBLIC SPACE Competition
Natural disasters, epidemic, the world in an increasingly tense relationship between countries gradually appeared a kind of alienation and isolation, the unpredictable crisis made us to design a building as Noah’s ark to protect human, biological information and thinking about what roles do the public buildings can be except as a participant of people’s daily life, and can buildings become a connection hub to combine different culture and regions?.
Therefore, we use the theme of communication as a means to design a “civilization of communication in ocean” for the preservation of humanity in the 21st century.
Instead of designing a public space in city, we are thinking a better way to preserve our information, it must be far away from crisis, war and epidemic.
The floating sphere is not only an exhibition hall for the world today, but also an effective way for people in a few years to understand who we are, and possibly a Noah’s Ark for human survival in the face of extreme conditions in the future.
