The novel coronavirus is highly infectious and prone to cause family cluster infection.Due to the excessive number of infected people and the shortage of hospital beds, a considerable number of suspected cases or close contacts without self-care ability are difficult to be isolated safely. I want to design a temporary isolation building that can be quickly built in the community.
The single unit is easy to construct and assemble.
Each isolation house can be quickly constructed with light steel material, transported by crane and then assembled. Each two units are supported by the contact between the roof chute and the elevator shaft.
There is almost no contact between doctors and patients.
The medical staff deliver food and medicine to the patients from the top floor through elevator and place them on the tray. The direct contact time between doctors and patients is almost zero.In case of emergency, doctors and patients should leave from the escape stairs.
Ventilation and Sewage Sludge Treatment
Due to the inclination of the roof, there is a large gap between two single units, which is convenient for ventilation. Each room exchanges air with the external space through the ventilation box.Since the excreta is confirmed to carry the virus, the feces in each compartment is treated separately.
