Based on the Amsterdam cycling bridge competition, Solution to “parking difficulty” of Amsterdam slow traffic system

Subtitle of the project:

Optimization of urban slow traffic system based on analysis of bicycle system index evaluation system

 

 

We hope, to design an access bridge with bicycle as the main mode of transportation to connect the north and south banks of IJ River, so as to solve (improve) the transportation problems (traffic accessibility) on both sides of IJ river. At the same time, in order to alleviate the bicycle parking problem in the city to a certain extent, we plan to build the original access bridge as a “public transport building” with bicycle capacity.

After evaluating and calculating the limited radius distance between the two sides of ij River by using “bicycle evaluation system method”, and combining with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of matter element analysis method, the optimal alignment connecting the two sides is obtained, which is the basis for our design of the access bridge.

On this basis, we began to think about the combination of parking function and access bridge, and put forward the concept of “public transport building”.

As a bridge, which will promote regional ties between the north and the south, will ease the contradiction between regional population density and economic development.

As a public transport building, it will become another landmark to relieve the pressure of urban parking and optimize the urban slow traffic system.
