Hundreds feet off the ground, the dome is just like a titan about to blow us hard – spatially and spiritually. We first walk along the ramps up to the vertex of his body without knowing anything, but our feelings accumulate as the huge collective emotion to the climax when we get to the highest point. Before we may be aware, it has been released into a sentimental blast at the gigantic space with the tintinnabulation resonating with every face of our cognition – it is a psychological battle about the conflict between the lack of our acknowledgment to the nuclear events that happened in the century, and the coldest evidence of our reckless acts engraved as the inscriptions on the plaques. 

This forceful commemoration is necessary, if not mandatory, serving as an unremovable mark for each of our mistakes in the history that put us one step closer into the nuclear plight.

We love our home so much, but we are no saint. We need to experience it over and over again, and coerce ourselves to carve this feeling into our mind, just in case in any moment we are about to forget our vices in our history of the nuclear weaponry competition. The hall, being as a memorial of our sins, reciprocates our demands by bestowing a space of self – for reflection, contemplation, and the chance of connection with the bygone.
