Manifest of The Blooming Hong Kong 2050:

1. The city is known for its sustainability, its liveability and new opportunities.
2. As Hong Kong aspired to enhance the health and well-being of its citizens, its green space per capita ratio has become much higher.
3. The Droneport typology is known for its modularity, transportability and scalability, which enables the network of Vertiports, placed on top of car parks, shopping centers and other public facilities.
4. The ubiquitous typology presents an efficient successor to former types of public transport, as well as for cargo and medical transport.
5. The Flower represents the node of Hong Kong’s mobility, lies within optimal range of urban centers of the region and is connected to the number of high-speed transit options.
6. Despite The Flower being a focal point of the Central district and its wider surroundings, it separates itself from its aggressive location by focusing its program inwards.
7. The Flower provides sufficient space for various facilities, including office spaces and other workplaces for new enterprises and start-ups. Therefore, it represents an “opportunity hub” that hosts education and medical facilities as well as offers the possibilities for new businesses and has developed a vibrant innovation and technology ecosystem.
