One of degraded forest of La Palma Island is the place where this project is located. Its landscape has been subtly transformed by the passage of time and also degraded for fires.
The project proposes to create a new ephemeral prototype of house like ´a seed for reforesting´. The idea is based on Masanobu Fukuoka´s agricultural method; ´seed balls for working with nature´.
The ´seed balls´ are an effective way for growing plants. The project transforms this ´seed balls´, from micro to macro, for creating new ´ephemeral seed houses´ where it could be possible to enjoy the nature. While, step by step, the architecture is disappearing under the erosion effects, allowing nature grows on its surface. This surface is built with local Earth that contains inside seeds of different endemic plants and trees.
When the time passes the ´seed houses´ disappear to become nature on the landscape. So, the architecture disappears and give way to the nature.
Project Type:
Landscape.

a simple but effectful aproach that combines ephemeral housing with reestablishing a burnt, broken landscape
