Such a large region requires an overall, precise and clear intervention strategy
also for the users of the spaces. The natural environment becomes the stage of the project, which
must understand the specificities of the landscape, tell it, in a sort of “landscape exhibition”. The
decision was to identify some particularly significant points, which, through minimal interventions,
will become attractive poles, scenarios for collective events – sport, entertainment, market, culture.
They will have an important resonance for the whole region, as they will act as spots for a pedestrian and cycling path and a continuous green spine composed of botanical gardens, woods, green
terraces, which will link the whole region. The philosophy of these interventions is based on their
reversibility, ease of assembly and the use of local materials – limestone, steel and wood.
Furthermore, a new, different way of experiencing the landscape is proposed, through a system of
self-sufficient widespread housing, without a precise site, but with the possibility of settling, grafting, insinuating itself into the territory according to its specific morphology.
