The project revolves around the reconstruction of the ruins of the Roman Forum. Using mesh structures overgrown with greenery, the once vibrant centre of Ancient Rome can be re-established. The mesh structures prevent the plants from settling roots onto the ruins, ensuring that the roots have no effect on the ruins themselves, while providing a restoration of the Forum. Currently, the Forum itself and the surrounding area are mostly grass fields or just empty, with larger roads surrounding them.  The area is heavily visited by tourists, but there is little attempt to allow for them to be immersed in the history as it once was.
