“D and U and everyone” represents very accurately how, both in war and in politics, there are a few hands that make decisions from above that will affect the rest of civil society. The mixture of references to comic style and board games with elements of contemporary culture (such as books, web pages, current concepts of urban planning) together with the graphic quality of the drawing with great detail and care generate an atmosphere that masterfully conveys the drama of war with a very timely irony. Congratulations!

It’s a very original strategy of representation, that brings together many different references and themes into a single and cohesive thematic.

Brilliant interpretation of the brief, with a brutally honest outlook towards our current built environment and the forces behind them. The harsh subject matter and hopeless state of affairs is counteracted with some incredible drawing skills and even sharper sense of humour. Had a tonne of fun discovering all the hidden details on the board.
– Quatre Caps
For its ironic and critical approach to the topics that we all assume as utopian. For its graphic quality and for the care shown in the realization of the details and the general composition of the piece, we give this proposal 10 points.

This satire is a direct criticism of the system. The piece radically showcases the violence embedded in the abstraction of a plan/map used for making decisions that affect people’s lives. Be it war design, city design, utopia design or dystopia design, the gamified layer of the piece makes one reflect on the power of those playing the game and if this power is as out of scale as the map itself. Attention to detail translates into many different readings that show two opposite realities that depend solely on human beings and their way of designing and building.
