– FINALIST of 2020 Monument Competition

A monument that summarizes the condition of the city at the time of COVID-19, when people had to re-evaluate the domestic space, often uncomfortable and inadequate. From their homes the inhabitants have looked at the world with different eyes: nature has timidly set foot in the deserted places of public life. The city in the lockdown is an almost imaginary scenario that we would hardly have expected to experience. Could this be a starting point for making man’s home more liveable? Can a city’s public space be more sensitive and ecologically sustainable?
